The Crystal Ball Cocktail at the Fortune Teller's Lounge on the Carnival Mardi Gras? That is firmly in the second category — and it has everything to do with the woman behind the bar.


Her name is Inga, and friends, she is YouTube famous for a reason.


The Fortune Teller's Lounge: Where the Magic Happens

Tucked inside the French Quarter neighborhood on Carnival Mardi Gras, the Fortune Teller's Lounge is one of those spots on the ship that stops you dead in your tracks. The décor is moody, theatrical, and dripping in mystique — think velvet, gold, and just enough mystery to make you feel like your fortune is about to change. Spoiler: it did, the moment Inga started mixing.


This isn't just a bar. It's a stage. And Inga is the headliner.


Meet Inga — The Star of the Show

If you've spent any time searching cocktail content on YouTube, there's a good chance you've already seen Inga work her magic. She has built a following simply by being extraordinary at what she does — precise, theatrical, warm, and genuinely passionate about every single drink she creates.


On March 29, 2026, during our Caribbean sailing aboard the Carnival Mardi Gras, I watched her craft the Crystal Ball Cocktail from start to finish — and I filmed every glorious second of it. Trust me when I say the video does not disappoint.


The Crystal Ball Cocktail — Breaking It Down

Let's talk about what's actually in this beauty, because it is far more than just a pretty face.


The Ingredients:


  • 1.75 oz. Herradura Silver Tequila

  • 0.75 oz. Green Chartreuse

  • 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

  • 0.50 oz. Agave Syrup


That base alone is sophisticated — the herbaceous complexity of the Green Chartreuse against the clean, crisp Herradura Silver is a combination that means business. The fresh lime juice brightens everything up, and the agave syrup ties it all together with just enough sweetness to balance the tartness.


But here is where it gets theatrical.


The Presentation:


The cocktail is served in a large martini glass with a glowing, illuminated ice sphere inside — and then Inga tops the whole thing with a delicate smoke bubble created with a smoke-bubble gun. The bubble sits perched on top of the drink like something out of a fantasy, releasing a slow, dreamy wisp of smoke. You can pop it. And yes, you absolutely will pop it.  Inga, Is a bubble maker in real life! 


The visual effect? Absolutely stunning. The taste? Every bit as good as it looks.

Here is the great news for all my fellow cruise planners — the Crystal Ball Cocktail is included in the Carnival CHEERS! beverage package. That means if you've already invested in the package, this showstopper drink costs you nothing extra. Order two. You deserve it.


If you are not on the CHEERS! package, I would still tell you to walk yourself straight to the Fortune Teller's Lounge and order one anyway. Some experiences are simply worth the line item.


Tips Before You Go

  • Get there early. The Fortune Teller's Lounge draws a crowd, especially in the evenings.

  • Ask for Inga by name if she is working. The experience is truly elevated by her artistry and personality.

  • Have your phone ready. You will want to film this from the moment she starts mixing. I promise you that.

  • It is on the CHEERS! package — no excuses not to try it.

The Crystal Ball Cocktail at the Fortune Teller's Lounge on Carnival Mardi Gras is not just one of the best drinks at sea — it is one of the most memorable cocktail experiences I have ever had, period.
