How I’m Building a Digital Empire on the Way to My Dream Retirement
There is a certain kind of freedom that comes when you stop waiting for life to happen and start building it yourself. That is exactly where I am right now — somewhere between a well-earned retirement and the adventure of a lifetime — and I have never felt more alive, more purposeful, or more unstoppable.
Whether the wind carries me to Thailand, back out to sea on another cruise, or somewhere I haven’t even dreamed of yet, one thing is certain — I am building the income streams, the community, and the creative life that will make every destination possible. And I am doing it one post, one video, and one platform at a time.
Today I want to celebrate how far I have come, share what I am building, and invite you along for the entire ride.
Three Channels. Three Passions. One Unstoppable Queen.
When I decided to go all in on YouTube content creation, I did not do it halfway. I launched three channels, each one a reflection of something I love deeply.
Faith Fire Focus (FFF) — This channel is my heart. It is where faith meets motivation, where I share the kind of encouragement that gets you out of bed in the morning and keeps you moving through the hard days. FFF recently crossed the 500-subscriber milestone — a major achievement on the road to YouTube Partner Program eligibility — and the momentum is only building.
Sip, Sail & Sass (SSS) — This is where the travel lover in me gets to shine. Cruises, exotic destinations, lifestyle adventures, and all the fabulous in between. SSS is growing steadily and serves as the home base for this very blog, where I document the journey toward a life lived beautifully and without borders.
Prompt, Polish & Profit (PPP) — This is my newest venture and perhaps the one I am most excited about. PPP is dedicated to teaching non-tech-savvy beginners — especially those of us over 60 — how to harness the power of artificial intelligence in simple, practical, and profitable ways. Because technology is not just for the young, and nobody should be left behind.
The Numbers That Made Me Do a Happy Dance
I am a firm believer in celebrating wins — publicly, loudly, and without apology. So here is what the scoreboard looks like right now:

These are not just numbers. They are proof that consistency, determination, and an unwavering commitment to showing up — even on the hard days — pays off.
Building Income Streams for the Life I Am Designing
Retirement should not mean slowing down — it means redirecting your energy toward the things that truly matter. For me, that means building multiple income streams that will travel with me wherever the adventure leads.
Currently I am actively working toward Facebook Stars monetization, which requires maintaining over 500 followers for 30 consecutive days — a goal I have already set in motion. I am also in the process of building out consistent long-form travel content here on the SSS Blogger site in preparation for a Google AdSense resubmission. Additionally, I have my Amazon Associates program active across all platforms, and I am currently exploring the exciting new Instagram monetization opportunities that are emerging for content creators.
Each one of these revenue streams is a brick in the foundation of the retirement I am building — one where I am not dependent on a single source of income but instead supported by a beautifully diversified digital portfolio.

None of this journey is meant to be taken alone. That is why I launched my Facebook Group, Creators Over 50 & Fabulous — a space for experienced, creative, and absolutely fabulous individuals who are proving every single day that the best chapters of life are still being written.

My Captain and I have a dream. It involves warm breezes, exotic markets, stunning coastlines, and the kind of slow, intentional living that most people only see in travel magazines. Thailand has been calling our names for a long time now — and every subscriber, every follower, every view, and every monetized platform is one step closer to answering that call.
But the beautiful thing about the life I am building is that it does not require a specific destination. Whether we end up in Thailand, on a cruise ship somewhere in the Mediterranean, on the lake with a cold drink in hand, or somewhere we have not yet discovered — the income, the community, and the creative work will travel right along with us.
That is the whole point. Freedom is not a destination. It is something you build.
