There is a moment — and if you have ever started something new after 50, you know exactly the moment I am talking about — where you look around and realize there is no roadmap for what you are doing. No mentor who looks like you. No community that gets it. Just you, a laptop, and a whole lot of determination held together with coffee and a prayer.
That was me.
I am Paulette. Retired. Over 60. U.S. Army veteran. Grandmother of eight. Wife of one very patient Captain. And somewhere between lake days on the boat and planning my next cruise, I became a content creator.
Not a young, trendy, algorithm-chasing content creator. A real one. The kind who learned everything the hard way, made every mistake in the book, and kept going anyway.
Today I run three YouTube channels — Faith Fire Focus, Sip Sail and Sass, and Prompt Polish and Profit. I post on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. I write this blog. I study AI tools like it is my second career — because honestly, it is.
And I built all of it after 50.
Which is exactly why I built Creators Over 50 & Fabulous.
What Is It?
It is a free Facebook group for anyone over 50 who is creating, building, dreaming, or just trying to figure out where to start. YouTubers. Bloggers. TikTokers. Affiliate marketers. People who have never posted a single video but know they have something to say.
All of it. All of them. Welcome.
Why Did I Build It?
Because I needed it and it did not exist — at least not the way I wanted it to.
I wanted a space that was:
- Encouraging without being fake
- Educational without being overwhelming
- Real without the drama
- Fabulous without apology
So I built it myself.
Three YouTube channels, a blog, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and a whole lot of lessons learned the hard way — I built this group so you do not have to figure it out alone.
Who Is It For?
It is for the woman who just bought her first ring light and has no idea what to do with it.
It is for the man who retired and finally has time to start that YouTube channel he has been talking about for ten years.
It is for the grandmother who wants to document her travels but does not know where to begin.
It is for every person over 50 who has ever been told — by society, by algorithms, by their own inner voice — that it is too late.
It is not too late. It is never too late.
